In regards to allowing certified home schooling in Iowa.
In 1985 - 86 led local families concerned about pornography in picketing of local merchants who sold obscene materials in their establishments.
Eventually joining with the Statewide and National opposition groups against indecency.
In 1989 – 90 became involved with Iowa Right to Life attending Memorial at the Capital in Des Moines and protest at abortion clinic located near the State Capital.
Also in January 1990 attended the Right to Life Observance in Washington D. C.
In 1992 attended “Stand in the Gap” Promise Keepers event in Washington D. C.
Served on the State Central Committee of the Republican Party as Conservative and Pro-Life from 1992-2002.

Alternate Delegate to the 2000 GOP National Convention in Philadelphia PA.
Active in GOP politics in support of various Pro-Life Conservative Candidates.
Involved in Presidential Campaigns of Pat Robertson, Phil Gramm, George W Bush, Former Vice President Dan Quail and as paid staff for Tom Tancredo.
Has been married for 45 yrs to Anita Hulsizer
Three Children and 11 Grandchildren.

Attended Johns Hopkins University for 2 years Then answering God’s call to preach, left the Baltimore Washington area to attend Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs where received an AA degree in Religious Studies.
Attended Tarkio College in Tarkio Missouri and received a BA in Religious Studies.
Received a Master of Church Management degree from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee Illinois.
Received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from The University of Dubuque Theological Seminary in Trinitarian Studies, with a thesis on; “The Need for Traditional Trinitarian Imagery in Effectively Communicating the Christian Faith”.
Has completed 31 years in the Pastorate.
